FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR A TREATMENT?
For body massage, a combination of your own briefs and towels are used to preserve your modesty.
Crystal therapy, and in some cases Indian head massage, are all fully clothed.
Reflexology requires bare feet but fully clothed otherwise.

WILL I BE COVERED IN OIL?
If you are having massage then oil is used, however by the time the treatment is over the majority of the oil is gone.  As a 'just in case' precaution I would advise you attend your appointment in old, loose, comfortable clothing.
I do also use oil for Indian head massage, and would advise a hat if you don't wish anyone to see your hair afterward.  I can also do Indian head massage without oil (but since the oil is so beneficial for your hair and scalp why would you want to miss out on that?!)

CAN I ARRIVE WEARING MAKE UP?
If you are having a body massage, yes, you can arrive wearing make up, you will be lying face down for a time and some ladies find their eye make up needs attention afterwards.
If you are having a facial it is better to attend with a clean face, as more time can then be spent on the nicer parts like the facial massage but all facials include a double cleanse anyway so the choice is yours!

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
This is difficult to answer, the number of treatments will depend on the nature of the condition, and how you feel after each treatment.  It is usual practice to have monthly reflexology, massage and facial treatments for maintenance, crystal therapy could be as many as monthly or as little as one per quarter.

BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT
If this is your first treatment then you will be advised at the time of booking how long is needed for the consultation process.  For subsequent treatments, please arrive at least 5 mins prior to your appointment.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A CONSULTATION, I HAVE HAD THE SAME TREATMENT AT OTHER PLACES?
Yes, I need to ensure that the treatment you are booked in for is the best treatment for you, that you understand what will happen in the treatment, that we discuss how I am going to carry out your treatment,
any medical issues you have (or have recently had) including any medication you currently take;
if there are any reasons why I may not be able to treat you and for you to ask any questions of me so that you know exactly what will happen throughout the treatment.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
